The current emergent pandemic is extraordinary and certainly call for diverse actions but the practicability of putting an absolute embargo on the legal standards of medical practice don't seem to be justified. The solution may lie in a separate set of directives being issued in light of the prevalent situation so as to balance the interests of the patients, doctors and other stakeholders.
COVID-19 has created an extraordinary situation which majorly affected the businesses making them to coordinate with others and thus forming cartels. this is also the need of the hour. many jurisdictions have given temporary relief to such collaboration. India also came up with the advisory and thus allowing the coordination in certain activities. but this is not a blanket exemption for all type of cartels. the advisory should not be misused and CCI should also stick to its guidelines.
